one minute away from 2061

I've missed your last 75 birthdays,  
I'm sorry for that.  
the circumstances of my coming and  
going has never been clear to either of us.  

but when I do come around, I love how  
you look at me.  
you prepare for me to pass on by,  
knowing that I will say hello just to go again.  

your smile is just ahead of me,  
I'm counting seconds now.  
I can see that white smile forming,
your cheeks blushed blue and green.  

and for a moment all is well again.    
my love, I've arrived.  
and of course you have the camera ready.  
a picture is taken, a keepsake.  

and with that I continue on my journey.  
no goodbye is necessary.  
I always come back for you,  
so hang that photo up in your heart.  

I am yours.
