So I'm that person who has been the really geared dps/healer who doesnt say anything or care when you think your tanking/dps is bad. I just enjoy doing Mythic+ and practice keys on dungeons I hate to force myself to learn it better. But when someone leaves im SO vocal to them in whispers. Nothing hateful or anything like that, but just let them know how they just screwed over 4 others by their selfishness after leaving because 1 wipe. Happy to see this guy came thru :)

I, too, rarely say anything bad, even if it's my own key. I always try to explain the mechanics first (yes, explaining to a M+15 group that they have to walk on the purple swirls when Galindre is almost done casting Magic Magnificent is painful, but it's worth to give it a try), only resorting to the occasional rant when we already have quitters.

But today...

Today I had a shitty tank in a M+, he quit. I've noticed he was from Quel'thalas, made a joke about Quel'thalas' fame for providing the world with the very best players that are also, undoubtedly, fluent in English. Nobody acknowledged it.

So, I decided to mouse over the other players (they weren't obscenely awful like the tank. They were very average), and they were all from Quel'thalas.

:(

Leaving a M+ can get anybody mad, but just going off on somebody like in OP's msg is very immature, but I guess people playing wow has a lot of hormones.

Unexpected friendlyness goes a long way towards making people who have an outbreak come around.

You can either stirr the flames or extinguish them. Insulting a flamer only makes it worse. Being unexpectedly nice to him or her has a good chance of making him or her feel like an arse.

Also differentiates the true assholes from the nice people just having a stressful breakdown.

I think you mean stoke the flames. Just being pedantic though, I completely agree with your statement!

You've never stirred a pot of flames? Man you're missing out. I recommend a spoon not made of wood.

I was in a BG once and they wouldn't take the flag so I had to. I had to tell them I have a bad computer and get lag spikes so it's a bad idea for me to take the flag, but they didn't care.

Finally, I got the worst lag spike I ever had, and some dude started screaming at me for being a "piece of shit" and I explained, he said, "then leave dipshit!" and I simply replied with a "Ok :}" and he just started to apologize but I left and shit. It honestly feels really good that they apologize and feel sorry!

i dunnoh, I'd reward people who come around with giving them what they want. To condone good behavior people should reward them is what I believe.

This reminds me of a game of WSG I was in. Everyone was fighting in mid, I was the only one going for the flag as a fury war. After my third try of getting the flag a 1/3 the way down the field, I said "welp that was my last try". Someone, who had been fighting in mid the whole game says: "if that's what you call a try please stop". Then continued to call me a scrub when I pointed out he hadn't been playing the objective at all. Some peoples' kids.
