A bot that reverse image search on Google and comments the link to the highest resolution pic
Not subreddit-only bot, but a universal one. I don't want it for myself, I just want it for public use.

u/MaxImageBot already exists.
Similar idea (getting larger versions of images), but it instead returns larger images based off of URL patterns (for example, adding ?name=orig at the end of a twitter image), not via a reverse image search. So it can't do anything for images uploaded via reddit, for example.
As for making a bot like that, although I agree it would be very useful (probably much better than this one), I believe API limits would be a relatively difficult factor to work with. Via a quick search, tineye costs $200/5000 searches, bing costs $4/1000, while google is $5/1000. Other than sending direct searches via the website (which would inevitably result in captchas due to, if checking every image being posted, 10-50 searches per second), I believe it would be quite expensive to run.
If anyone does make one though, feel free to include the library/userscript I wrote for this bot, often what is linked on google reverse image search isn't as large as it could be.
Interesting breakdown. Thanks.
