Where do I start?
My mind dances in circles
With no clear finish
Nor beginning

What does it mean?
To close your eyes
And open them only to find
The same kind of darkness

How could it be?
One moment here
And one moment there
Share nothing except their fragility

Who am I now?
Two halves
Are not a whole
And my edges are rugged

Why can’t I stop?
Memories linger

When does it end?
Torn between what was
