Great way to fill the down-time between Faction Rallies: Exotic Class Items

Bungie Suggestion

Title. Need that feeling of constant contribution to our faction like in D1. Basically “Complete X Activities with faction emblem equipped” or even better, since faction armor is now purchasable instead of RNG-dependent, it would not be unreasonable to give us a quest chain (tracked in the new Pursuits tab!) that has us do things in full faction armor. Patrols/Lost Sectors > Strikes/Nightfall > Crucible Matches/Wins > Raid

Hardcore exotic collectors/faction supporters could definitely knock all of that out in a few weeks, and those with less time now have something else to invest in, even if it’s just progress in the background. Maybe it’s already on the way, here’s hoping.

Agreed and can we get more armor and class item perks beyond dumb mods?

Why don't we have Exotic class items? I mean, they're regular armour like your other four pieces, how come they alone miss out on being an Exotic?

I'd love to get my exotic FWC cloak back from D1, I've been making due with a standard legendary FWC cloak with Metro Shift

I'd be on board with this, but i'd like the exotic class item to have an actual perk to them. I always thought it would be cool if they gave you the ability to equip two exotic weapons at the expense of an exotic armor slot. And yes I know class item are technically armor but you know what i mean.
