little confused. what does the "hybrid" mean, also is this the 4k blu ray that did not include HDR?
they added TrueHD audio from regular bluray because UHD only has 5.1 DD track
The Bluray had good 4K video, but terrible audio (Dolby Digital, I believe). Netflix stream had terrible bitrate, but TrueHD 5.1 audio.
This release is the best of both worlds (and consequently, the best Stranger Things S01 release, pirated or legal).
Yes to the non HDR: this is one of the few non HDR 4k releases (fucking Netflix).

Bluray > UHD Bluray even in video quality. also UHD Bluray is SDR so
literally no point in downloading a bigger release that is worse in every single way.
Double the resolution, the Rec 2020 color space instead of Rec 709, and more modern compression....
Not saying it's necessarily perceivable, but even without a HDR grade it's very much a difference.
