Don't leave just yet
The summer left you tempest-tossed,
a game you can't reset,
and even if it seems all lost,
don't leave the world just yet.
Just have a coffee, have a break,
they'll manage on their own,
you keep your calm and stay awake
and spend some time alone.
The world around you is abloom,
the colors of September,
think ahead and don't assume,
observe and don't remember.
The world around you comes apart,
and nature goes to rest,
you take your time and disregard
the haunted and obsessed.
And maybe, with some bravery,
you'll question and not shelve,
and free yourself from slavery
that you set on yourself.
Don't blame the Devil for your flaws
for it could be the other way,
that Heaven has you in it's claws
and Hell can save the day.
