Tomorrow’s Rainbow
Staring down the barrel of endless days
Spent in the chamber of meaningless haze
I chose to fly away
And so they’ll say
You should pray
For the soul that I splayed
When I freed myself from the hell men have made
But, pray ye not for the soul that was mine!
I finished the feast and guzzled the wine
I left on my time
And urge you to pray
For the ones who stay
Paying no mind
To the heaven we find
When we leave Earth behind
Enlightened
We shine
And if there’s one thing I know
Tomorrow’s sky will have a rainbow
