Moral Responsibility

i’m seeing in only black and white.
i’m building stairs,
on these ocean nights.
flooded, the flight is coming.
grab your wings and stretch
so wide that the blue canopy
opens and becomes night.
let your eyes become His
and be lead to where He is.
asceticism leads to awareness
allow it to consume your endeavors.
when given two paths
find out why each was given.
let your faith guide you
to the place you’re intended to be.
a seeming paradox
but you will know why each was given,
through faith.
