Summer nights through my window
Cookouts and ball games, lawn games and beers.
Kids dancing with dragonflies, fireflies and tears- are shed when it's time to go home.
Old dreams are realized, New love is formed.
When the skies blaze pink, and the nights stay warm, Spirits lifted by Earths tilt towards the sun.
Save for myself, Who must tilt to behold,
The joys of the humans, As I lay growing old, Breathing in each summer through my iron lung.
