Long story short. The D Jeanne skill fate and the 5* Jeanne fates are connected.

They could make it with current 5* Jeanne reminiscing about her emo days, so we get further back story on the otherworldly being.

What Poringun said really. As we know from Dark Jeanne's intro, there's two types of dialogue which can branch out.
One branch where you have Jeanne (Light) in your group and she already knows who you are. It's also when we see the stories go back to back from Dark to Light Jeanne.
The other one is when we don't have Jeanne (Light) in the group and she acts like a stranger towards you. This one might get another interlude to how she can recover from that incident (I hope).
