Lost in Belief
Lost in Belief
How can one whose beliefs be strong,
Chose to revere one for whose existence is but a mystery,
Yet to some, a colossal misery?
How can one whose opinions be strong,
Chose to shadow one for Its greatness,
A soul never wrong,
For all we know, we could be outrageous!
A dagger’s ready to pierce,
Whose bearers are so fierce,
Yet, they’d know too well,
They’d know that they’d depart to hell.
For what is belief?
Is it for those filled with curiosity,
Or is it for the thief?
For all we care,
Is for the love we share,
It is foul to think,
That His existence is not pure,
For it is for the best,
To not be too sure.
His existence may just be but a figment of our imagination,
Whilst the principles will guide us, till death do us part.
