she's gone

ceaseless yearning, for a greater past,

searching and searching

with little acknowledgement of how it feels,

they search for her,

chasing that loving feeling that won't last,

memories that can't be repeated,

they see her, amongst every face,

a ghost with no embrace,

yearning to be found once again.
