Oculus Rift DK2 Sensor w/ Oculus Go?

Hey guys, I was super jazzed on the idea of VR when the Oculus Rift DK2 was on sale.. unfortunately I purchased it without making sure that my computer was up to PAR and ended up with a lackluster experience (100% my fault). Fast forward to now and I have an Oculus Go and it's fantastic... Anyhow, my question is.. is there any way to repurpose the DK2 sensor to grant 6DoF to the Oculus Go? I still have the hardware and was just wondering if I could still make use of it. Thanks!

Hi there, unfortunately this isn't an option as the Oculus Go doesn't have the LED's needed for tracking.

Ah that makes sense! Thank you for the info! Take it easy.

He’s right that it tracks LEDs, but maybe you could add some. And maybe it could be combined with Riftcat. Honestly though, you’d probably be better off just buying Nolo VR to go with the Go.
