Resign

This tie is for dying

This tie is for living

 

I always wear the latter

Even when I'm in tatters

But today it's much darker

So I will wear the other

 

Now here I stand upon this chair

With a tie only once I'll wear

Kick this loose chair and jump with grace

Take me away from this dark place

 

This knot

This noose

This leash

This tie

This lie

This life
