LOOPHOLE
LOOPHOLE
Looking over my shoulder, peeking into the past
In the blink of an eye, life seems as though it is moving too fast.
So fast that the concept of seconds, minutes, and hours are becoming impossible to grasp.
But why is it memories we desire to neglect have the most intense clasp?
-
While yesterday's adventures is always stolen by Father Time, one I call a crook
Gotta give them something to remember
So we keep it in the book.
To tell our children, grandchildren, their offspring and so on
It is almost as though history begins to REPEAT itself
Even if the beginning of the cycle is like a hymn known by all
But the title is an unknown song
-
Spanning from start to finish
Time can be infinite
Or limited.
This is dependent on perspective
And what your incentive is.
-
Here I am again
Looking forward to the future, I suppose
Until I find myself glancing at what is long gone
A journey that by life was proposed.
What else lies ahead on this path?
Only time knows...
