"What's worse than stepping on a lego?"
"What's worse than stepping on a lego?", Danny asked the mysterious figure
The dark and moving figure whispered to the boy "Shut the fuck up and keep walking".
They had been walking deeper and deeper into the forest for what felt like nearly a day. Danny had lost all grip on reality, as the rift between his reality and his sanity drifted farther and farther apart. The figure didn't want to kill him, or have his way with him, but at this point either would be a better alternative to the endless walking.
The figure looked at the pitiful waste of human in front of him. It laughed to itself about how disgusting man was. It laughed like this, "heh heh." If only the boy knew what was in store for him.
Finally they came to the end of the forest. Yes, it literally ended. A foot ahead was a cold void that to the mortal eye looked like hell.
"Jump, Now, do it you little bitch" the figure commanded
And Danny complied. Anything to rid himself of this madness.
Danny awoke in darkness. He couldn't feel anything except excruciating pain. He tried to move his legs, he couldn't. He tried to move his arms, he couldn't. He looked down at his body, all he could see was six giant red bumps lined up in nice rows where his chest and abs used to be. Suddenly he realized, he was no longer a human. He had been stripped of his identity, stripped of his soul. He was Lego.
And as the giant foot of God appeared from the void, rushing forth toward his plastic body, Danny could only watch in endless and unfathomable horror.

It's funny because recurrence is true.
