I leveled down, lost 50k blood points and had to refill the same blood web?

Last night I completed a blood web on David King and even got a perk. It took around 40-50k blood points. I immediately logged off after deliberately admiring my new premonition 3.

Today I logged on and realized I only had premonition 2. So I opened up the blood web and saw the EXACT same page. I can even replay exactly how the blood web/entity progress went down last night.

Now I'm not too sure but I think my David King also went back down a level, and NONE of my blood points were returned to me? Did anybody else experience this? I lost a lot of blood points :(
