Please recommend a fun/cheap/viable summoner build!

Hey guys!

I have been playing SRS until lvl 40 and I feel that its tedious always having to re summon those damn skulls. I want an army without timelimit that I only have to resummon when they die. Are there any other cheap and viable summoner builds that you can recommend? Is raise Spectre still good?
