Windows 10 and Xbox players cannot connect to each other.

Firewall settings allow the game, both can send and receive invites, but when the Win10 player joins, it says "Multiplayer Session Ended" and when the Xbox player joins, he is stuck at a "joining" screen indefinitely, any help would be appreciated.
