Gen 3 Nuzlockes - To randomise abilities or not

Just curious how many people prefer to randomise the abilities or keep them the same or if there is a standard option everyone chooses?

I can get both sides, randomising makes it truly a minefield of challenge and random laughs, keeps you on edge and you never know what you're going to get.
