Is it possible to retrofit a second heatpipe into the T480?

As many of you propably know, the T480 without dGPU comes with only one heatpipe while the one with dGPU comes with two. I don't need a dGPU so I ordered one without it. Is it possible to retrofit a second heatpipe into the T480 by myself?
