Best strategy for tomorrow's performance? (oral presentation; keto and fasting-related question)
Tomorrow I'm having an oral presentation, euphemistically speaking we can say that I don't have a knack for doing speeches in front of people so I was wondering what is the best way to be at my best, mentally speaking.
On Saturday I ate a lot of carbs, then always under 20 grams the following days (plus one 24-hour fast yesterday); on Sunday and yesterday my mood was horrible, depressive-suicidal (yep), today I'm better but not on top. I don't know if it was due to the sugar or if it was just random honestly (I've been eating sugar-food several times in the past weeks, never had such a reaction), but I was wondering what do you suggest to have a better performance tomorrow, these are the options I was thinking about:
Keto options:
- staying low carb till tomorrow and no breakfast (short fast, about 14 hours)
-staying low carb but having keto breakfast tomorrow, coffee+coconut milk and walnuts
Non-keto options:
-keto dinner but healthy carb-breakfast before going (apples/bananas)
- healthy low carbs-dinner and no breakfast
- healthy low carbs-dinner, healthy carbs-breakfast
Obviously being in ketosis would be optimal, the point here is that i don't know what my current state is and I don't want to risk keto flu happening tomorrow or stuff like brain fog in case I'm already going in ketosis but I disrupt it with sugars
Any suggestion appreciated
