goofy stance help

my character settings for my stance is set to goofy, but whenever i do switch to goofy, i push mongo and i can’t seem to get my guy to push regular when he’s in goofy stance. he only pushes regular when the stance is regular, even though i set the stance to goofy. when i see other people play skate 3, sometimes some people have goofy set, and i don’t know how they have their character to push regular in goofy. how do i stop my character from pushing mongo in goofy stance?
