I Drove By the Build Site

I am new here so forgive me if I run afoul of proper etiquette. My better half and I ran across Pure Living for Life a few months ago due to common interests and a search on YT. We became fans but the more we watched, things started to not make sense. Jesse’s “mansplaining” really started to annoy me too. When we started to watch their videos, I immediately recognized where the PLFL site is because my friend lives right down the road and has the same view of the distinct unnamed mountain in the background.

I am on the fence on wether Jesse and Alyssa are fakes or not. Originally we wanted to get ahold of them to offer up some specialized equipment for them to borrow however I don’t want to do that now because I have a lot of questions about their motivation for their project.

Anyhow, the interesting part... we took a drive by their property yesterday and this is what we saw: there is a gate at the entrance of the driveway and it was closed. You have to look up to the property from the county road so you can’t see exactly what is happening on the ground. We did however see Alyssa in the basket of the Pettibone (wearing a harness) driving screws into the SIPs on the south wall and Jesse was on the inside of the building, just inside of where Alyssa was working, doing something. He was visible through the triangular window opening. Jesse had a camera mounted on his head. They did not seem to be communicating with anyone else on site and they looked busy. The front of the house is a lot closer to the road than it appears on video.

To recap, when I watch their videos and I can’t help but feel like I am being manipulated in some way. It made me sad when I came to realize this. On the other hand, I saw the two of them, first hand, working on the building, late in the afternoon and without help just as they claim they do. I honestly don’t know what to think. One thing is for sure though, I found Jesse’s “clean kitty” videos very creepy.
