My friends told me they are concerned that my life has become my identity

They say that I am more than my gender and I need to seek out some old or new hobbies again to stay more grounded.

In my defense, I have been on HRT for only a bit over 3 months and it has only been since the 7 weeks mark that I experienced marked psychological changes: way more intense emotions (especially negative ones), moodswings, stronger, longer and easier cries, suppressed anxiety symptoms, depression clearing up making me start to see life "in colours" for the first time (i.e. my life becoming more vivid, even mundane tasks becoming fun), feeling like I am 13, my regrets worsening, acquiring genital/reproductive dysphoria, my sexual orientation flipping from lesbian to straight, acquiring motherly feelings, etc.

Between constantly seeing subtle and less subtle changes on my face and body from HRT, feeling really lonely, having terrible regrets haunting me on a daily basis and completely having to rediscover my sexuality, I have been I guess understandably considerably more self-absorbed, but my friends think this needs to stop. :/
