I'm on an alt profile and once I finished Ikora's challenge milestone, I'm still not getting daily challenges (like Zavala, Shaxx and Ikora). Are these still in the game?

If so, what do I need to do to start getting access to these daily challenges? They used to be things like "Complete 3 challenges in strikes" and you would get a bundle of Vanguard tokens. Or it would be "complete 5 planetary challenges" and you would get Ikora tokens, and so on.
