Company laptop - T480 or X1 Yoga 3?

Hi, Starting in a new company and I have the choice of several laptops - some macbooks but also some nice thinkpads.

I am torn between the 2 choices:

• Lenovo ThinkPad T480 -Intel Core i7-8650U Processor with vPro, 16GB RAM, 500 GB
• Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3, Intel Core i7-8650U Processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB

Any 'gotchas between the 2? Right now my choice is towards the X1 for its portability. What is reddit advice on this choice? Anything to keep in mind when making this choice?

EDIT: i don't really plan to use the pen/signing feature of the X1 Yoga - and plan to use Linux on the laptop.
