Replacing a post-mount road hydro caliper - mtb?

I've rounded off the pad retention bolt on my front caliper (RS785), and have exhausted options to remove it - I think it's welded to the caliper. I'm looking to replace it, but it looks as though it's now impossible to find post mount shimano road calipers.

Some googling suggests that I ought to be able to use any 2 piston shimano mtb caliper, albeit with a different hose system. Is this still true? Are there likely to be any mtb calipers that don't use the banjo fitting which would be an easier replacement?
