She’s mine!

After a 3 year test drive (lease). I have purchased my 2015 FXT and I couldn’t be happier.

Took her in for an early 30k service while I negotiated the terms for my buyout and killed two birds with one stone.

While at the dealer, I noticed a guy nervously visiting and revisiting the only FXT on the lot. I asked him if he was getting it and he said maybe... told him I drive one and I love it. Turned out he was turning in his lease too, a NA forester and that he was thinking of upgrading for the next one. I told him to drive the XT hard when they let him out on the test. When he came back, I asked him what he thought and his eyes just opened wide while he nodded. So yeah, he bought it...

Then, getting home on the exit ramp off the freeway, I’m idling next to a LOUD bugeye sti. I look over and give him a thumbs up which he returns. Then opens his window to ask if mine is turbo. I say f-yeah. And he says I like it. I tell him it’s not your sti but it hauls these (indicating the two child seats in the back). Then, he rolls his rear window down too to reveal the same... Again, smile nod thumbs up speed away.
