Is there any point in using the R-201 over the CAR?

I play on the Xbox and CAR seems better in all aspects. I'm G74 with the R-201 and recently switched over to the CAR. It has better Hip Fire and less recoil. It has a lower damage at range but the pinpoint accuracy makes it effectively kill faster than the R-201. Is there any range where R-201 beats the CAR? Which has a slower Fire Rate? How many shots does each take to kill a pilot in point blank range?
