I(17M) need some relationship advice as i haven't dated since i was 13, any advice?

I'm in my final year of school, in Australia, and I'm starting to worry about going out into the real world not knowing any of the important things in relationships and how they work, plus all of the milestones like losing my v card, etc. I've asked a couple of friends for their advice, but i feel like the advice didn't cater to my personality and situation. Like I can talk to females just fine, but I'm poor at initiating conversations or keeping them going. Anyone able to help a brother out?
