(25F) resides in Canada, deciding to work in Hong Kong or in US

Sorry my English isn't perfect.

I currently resides in Canada , I've been having a hard time finding a job related to my field. Recently my driver licenses have been taken away as well. Prohibited from driving for a year. Which causes inconvenience for me to get to anywhere since commute takes long hours. It is doable but I am thinking of an alternatives.

Another reason is that I wanted to study concept design school in Singapore and that requires me to save up and resides in Singapore for a year.

Option 1

My family resides in Hong Kong and I do have an id so I am eligible to work there. It would be easier for me to save since I can stay at my parents place and save up a decent amount of money with lower tax deductions. Also flying from Hong Kong to Singapore shouldn't be as costly compare from NA to Singapore .

Cons:

The only issue would be my three cats that I currently own, I will have to send them flying and that might get costly and stressful. I do know that there is no quarantine in Hong Kong, I did ask my friend in HK custom about it. Bringing my computer and other personal belonging might cost me some $$ as well.

Option 2

The other alternative is to move to US with an SO. I do know that this isn't a relationship thread and try to separate from it. I bring this up due to my SO can provide me housing and commute. It is an 8 hour drive from Canada to my SO`s state, he can help me move my personal belongings and cats to his state as well. It would be easier to apply TN-1 visa form and be eligible to work there. I've also looked at alot of online jobs. Sadly most of them offers to people who resides in US.

Cons:

The downside of moving to US is the possibility of separation with SO. It might cost me to move bak to Canada with a broken heart. Then I would have to go back to Hong Kong and find work to keep on saving.

The question here I am asking is , should I just move to Hong Kong and just work hard there for a year or two to save up and go to my dream school.
Or I go to US , find work online and rely on my SO and then go to the school in Singapore.

Another concern I've is the tax return issue . I've been looking online about this since I am a Canadian citizen I willl still get taxed for my work worldwide.. which can be troubling as well.

Tl:Dr I resides in Canada , driver licenses got prohibited for a year. I can't find work in Canada. I wanted to study concept art in Singapore for a year. Deciding to work in Hong Kong where my family resides or US where my SO resides. Hong Kong being closer to Singapore but flying my cats will be costly. US I will have to apply visa to work online and can move things freely, but might separate with SO.

Thanks for the read.
