DAE get racing thoughts that are completely random and non-sensical during mania?

It literally makes me feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s almost like my brain is linking together a bunch of words and phrases but none of it makes sense. It’s absolutely maddening. My doctor and I are trying to find a medication to quell the hypomania, and so far Zyprexa is the only thing that stops these thoughts, which is a bummer due to the metabolic side effects.
