Which parts for first DIY 65% keyboard to [b]uy, [g]uidance needed
Hi all!
I want to build my first mechanical keyboard. I opted for 65% keyboard size, because of dedicated arrows keys. 60% is also acceptable, but I know that in many cases, some keys do not have standardly sized caps and therefore it's hard to find nice caps for those.
My questions would be next:
-
I want a PCB with an RGB support and dedicated arrow keys. Possibly 65% size. I did not manage to find such a board. I have found the board for GK64 but on that board, the shift will be 2u, which kills compatibility with the caps. Is there any PCBs out there which are compatible with my requirements? Also, a matching aluminum plate and case would be good :) USB-C and hot-swapping on the board are nice to have...

I want the best possible stabilizers that money can buy. Any advice?
-
My plan is to opt for either Cherry Mx Blue or Kailh Box Navy. Any other suggestions?

Idea is that it would be good to top everything of with some nice backlit keycaps.
This is a quite a lot of questions... Sorry about that... At the moment, GK64 seems the best choice for a keyboard, except that there are some non-standard caps, and I would really like to have standard keycaps.
EDIT:
After reading some of the replies, RGB is no longer a requirement, but at least white backlight is! Thanks for the replies people!
