If you didn't notice: Lower mobile data prices and no more domestic roaming in China starting NOW!

By July 1st Beijing decided to lower prices for mobile data and to cancel domestic roaming fees. If you don't get an upgrade on your existing plan, check with your provider about new offers.

China Mobile just called and offered an unlimited domestic data plan for 40yuan/month. And they will credit me 40yuan/month for the first 6 months, so it's basically a free mobile data upgrade for 6 months. (The short message with the reminder about the remaining data says 10000GB966.45MB domestic data left. )
