Creating event roads database for split PPV eras.....how would you categorize them?

So.....in addition to adding all In Ring content chronologically for my database....I am putting together event roads too, or all shows leading up to a particular PPV or otherwise major event in the era prior to that. It runs fairly straightforward up till you get to the brand split period, especially the original one that had events switch off each month for B shows vs. 2 a month like they had done this last time around. Then when ECW got involved briefly it got even murkier, for the One Night Stand shows especially.

It all wouldn't be so bad except that in the draft periods from 04 and 05....there would be crossover (05 especially so with the draft over a period of a few weeks vs. just a single night), and right before the end of the split events there was a little bit of crossover in the main events in some brand specific shows.

I really wanted to keep all these separated for easy searching for one brand or the other, but all that makes it a bit difficult. What would you guys do with it? Just go month by month with all content from both? I was debating that given the complicated aspects of all this but really didn't want to....tell me what you think here.
