Can someone explain how to better play Faceless Void at a high level?

I just played this game: towards the end I was not able to farm as fast as my opponents and I just died due to better lockdown and control in the late game. Im pretty sure I'm going into low priority due to this game - I was reported a lot.

Early game went well, I won my lane. Mid game my basic strategy was to push in lanes and farm jungle most of the time, building shadowblade so that I get get some juicy chronos. Late game I was just dying too much to lockdown.

I made some terrible mistakes here and there, but why is it when I play against Faceless void, my opponent somehow manages to get good chronos, farm much faster than me. Is there a gameplay that I'm missing?

So can someone explain this to me:

• Assuming that I get 70% efficiency as Faceless void in 10 minutes, what does a better faceless void do better than me?
