If a series stopped publishing because its magazine shut down in the middle - is there hope for it to keep going by some other way?
I don’t know much about manga so I’m coming here asking people who’d have a better idea - I tried to google this but couldn’t find answers.
I’ve read Shimanami Tasogare this week and I really enjoyed it, and I see now that it ended early because it was published on HiBaNa magazine and that magazine was shut down last year. The series kept going for a year later but then ended.
I’m wondering if there’s a chance for the series to be licensed by another magazine now? Or to keep going on its own by the separate manga sales? How does this work?
