Vide Noir Narrative?

Hey guys, longtime LH fan but just found this sub. Did some digging online but couldn't find a lot of detail on the story. I've listened to the album through quite a few times, but can't figure out if it's a singular narrator or a few different people like in ST.

Anyone dug more into the lore of this album/anyone got any ideas? The stuff about the fortune teller and the curse and immortality etc really interests and perplexes me.
