Where does Chandler come from?

I've seen a question posted on the internet asking where Chandler came from. It has been mentioned in the show where everyone else came from. The closest answer I can give is that in the episode "The One with the Rumor"

Chandler: Everybody at my school heard it! You were the hermaphrodite cheerleader from Long Island?!

So this could indicate how far away from everyone else chandler lived.
