Organisation wants me to attend their CCTV control room to see a copy of my data

Hello,

I have made a request under Article 15 of the GDPR to access a copy of CCTV that an organisation holds on me.

In the form they sent in response, it says that I can only view the CCTV (and I can't get a permanent copy of it) by going, in person, to their CCTV control room. Now, luckily, it is not a massive journey for me to go there and so I will probably do it. However, out of curiosity I wanted to know:

  1. Is there a legal obligation for the organisation to offer alternative means of viewing the CCTV, for example if the control room is at the other end of the country from where you live?

  2. Do they have to provide a permanent copy of the CCTV, e.g. a DVD or on a memory stick or download?

  3. If the organisation insists on me going to the control room in person, is it reasonable to expect that they reimburse my travel expenses?

Thanks!
