Trying to work out my progression in oval racing, I only want to go fast and don't know what series to do

I know nothing about oval racing at all, but seem to be doing okay at it. My small experience shows that I enjoy the flat-out, longer tracks far more (Charlotte compared to USA International in street stocks for instance).

I just don't know the tracks used in oval racing, so the simple question is do any of the D or C series use only this type of track?

Is INDYCAR Ovals what I am looking for?
