VST and USB Sound Card.

I have a 88 midi keyboard and a chuwii 10 pro windows tablet in which I use several VSTs and EZkeys both used with ASIO4all. Ezkeys have very good perfomance but it could be better. The other VSTs are terrible ( Through VSThost) . There is a lot of cracking in sound especially during polyphony. Would an external sound card like a Steinberg , a Focusrite or a Behringer improve the perfomance or would it be a waste of money?
