I was there to meet a CEO of a US based company who recently shifted to India with plans to open up his development center in India. He was seeking someone who can join him as CTO and was keen in discussing about the possibilities with me, I was also keen to exploring the opportunity. We scheduled 45min slot for personal meeting at his office to discuss the contractual terms, I was there at his office 3min prior to meeting understanding the importance of someones time but strangely enough he was continuously busy on call since I was there. Initially I thought must be some important call so kept calm and waited but sooner I overheard that he was dealing with some dog dealer to buy a dog, during 45min meeting he only addressed the official topic for 10min stating “oh sorry it was important as I had to buy a dog and this dog dealer was calling me to finalise”. I was in shock that how could such a senior professional be like this. I left the meeting stating “Best wishes for your dog”. Meeting between two CEOs taken over buy purchase of a dog.
