Tab to list/autocomplete current directory on empty command line? (BASH)
So the description says it all. But I'm quite surprised that this is not the first thing I get when I try to search for it. Still can't find how to do it. So a little background on why I'm looking for this; I've discovered a shell option:
autocd
This allows you to change into a directory by just typing the directory's name. And once the first letter of a directory has been typed, bash-autocomplete works as expected (As if the command starts with a "cd"). You'd expect the behaviour to extend to acting how "cd" + "tab" acts when no argument is given. Ie, listing the current directory or auto completing to the only available directory. This does not happen :(
So basically my question is: How do I get this behaviour?
