Can anyone give an example for a technology that provides a "public permissioned blockchain"?
I found the term "public permissioned blockchain" yesterday in a research paper. As far as I can tell, it's a permissioned chain with public read-acces. Chosen participants can write transactions and control the network, but the public has read access to all information on the chain.
I think this might be a great solution for usecases where you only want certain actors to push information on the network, but also some public transparency (supply chain with consumer end user).
Does anyone know technology (Hyperledger or other ooen source technology) that can provide this kind of services? Do you see some glaring problems with these types of chains?
