[Update] Best way to answer the dreaded "Are you planning on having any children" question in an interview?
So I was overwhelmed by the positive and supportive reaction to my last post regarding my last interview and I want to thank everyone that responded!
Just in case anyone wanted an update - I did get offered the job and I turned it down on the grounds that I was asked inappropriate questions during the interview. The recruiter was extremely apologetic about the whole thing and has apparently escalated the issue within the company, so justice may actually be done.
She did try to convince me to take the job anyway but I knew I wouldn't be able to work there after getting the manager involved in trouble, especially as it seemed to be a tight knit group in the office.
So my search for gainful employment continues, I have another interview in just over an hour and I've already realised that they salary they're offering actually ends up being less than minimum wage... Give me strength
Edit: interview went pretty well fingers crossed, I made it very clear to the recruiter that would not accept below a certain amount and especially not an amount that was less than minimum wage. I may not be employed right now, but I'm feeling like a boss!
