How is Ulm?

Hey all. I am coming to Ulm for a masters course. Just wanted to know how is the city? Is the cost of living high? Looking for comments from anyone who lives/lived or has been to the city!

I am looking for ways to finance my education through a part time job if possible. What are the chances of finding a part time job in the city? My german language skills are pretty basic, if that matters. thank you!
