Beat my workplace in patheticness
Another day, another opportunity for my workplace to show how pathetic they are.
We have a couple international guests in house and ordered lunch from a catering service. There was some short term mixup though on our side and we have to relocate to a restaurant for lunch. The catering service food could not be canceled so short-term. Our general manager then said that we just give the catering food to the staff. I thought that this is a welcome way to handle this mixup even though it's unusual to do something in a "nice" way here. Anyway, they managed to fully fullfil my prejudice when I found out that "giving it to the staff" means the staff can buy it at the exact same asking price from the catering service.
So, r/CasualConversation tell me how your workplace is even more pathetic than mine.
Also has anyone of you been in a situation where you are constantly frustrated at work and every day is a struggle to motivate yourself to go back there?
